FATE AND EFFECTS OF SPILLED OIL

With three decades of allied experience in energy production and transportation, Mac McCarthy employs a science-based approach to the prevention, assessment, and mitigation of spilled oil. As an environmental professional, he leverages an understanding of hydrocarbon formation, geochemistry, and fate and effects research to develop best response practices.

In addition to working in the field, he engages in modeling and all facets of response plan writing. Many of these efforts have supported projects abroad where the satisfaction of national regulations was achieved through the application of current best available technologies.
