Sediment and Water Remediation

Remediation is the process of mitigating environmental damage either after an emergency release or following the investigation of a legacy pollution source. Mac possess hands-on field experience remediating contaminants in soil, groundwater, and ballast water with a focus on eliminating costly links in the disposal chain.

Additionally, Mac has a solid understanding of the process leading up to a remedial action, whether the stakeholders approach it through the more contemporary Spill Impact Mitigation Analysis (SIMA) or through the historic Net Environmental Benefit Analysis (NEBA).
